AQ200 Aquatic Herbicide is a contact aquatic herbicide with the mode of action being the destruction of cell membranes.
AQ200 Aquatic Herbicide can be used as a “pour-in” treatment for submerged aquatic weeds and filamentous algae control.
AQ200 Aquatic Herbicide is a fast-acting, non-selective broad spectrum aquatic herbicide which will generally effect all types of aquatic weeds, including Bladderwort, Coontail, Elodea, Fanwort, Hydrilla, Parrotfeather, Pondweed, Potamogeton and Watermilfoil.
AQ200 Aquatic Herbicide is an aquatic herbicide that can be sprayed or injected directly into water to control submerged aquatic weeds and filamentous algae.
APPLICATION RATES:
For use in aquatic areas for submerged aquatic weeds such as Pond Weeds, Filamentous Algae, Bladderwort, Coontail, Elodea, Fanwort, Hydrilla, Parrotfeather, Pondweed, Potamogeton and Watermilfoil, apply at a rate of 5L AQ200 Aquatic Herbicide per megalitre of water to be treated.
MIXING & APPLICATION:
Dilute the required amount of AQ200, one part product to 10 parts water and spray or inject into the water. When Spraying, use a stream spray (NOT A MIST) and evenly distribute across all of the water's surface.
Concentrate on areas with dense aquatic weeds.
When direct injecting, inject below the water's surface and evenly distribute it around the water body, concentrating on areas with dense aquatic weeds.
NOTE: Aquatic Herbicide – AQ200 binds tightly to suspended clay particles in water and is therefore less effective in muddy water. If the water to be treated has high turbidity, use an approved flocculent to remove suspended particles prior to application.
NOTE: USE HIGHER RATES FOR DENSE INFESTATIONS.
WHEN APPLYING, ENSURE THAT THERE IS NO OVERSPRAY, AS IT WILL AFFECT NON-TARGETTED PLANTS.
USE PROTECTIVE PPE INCLUDING: GLOVES, GOGGLES, MASKS AND OVERALLS/PROTECTIVE CLOTHING.
WITHHOLDING PERIODS:
DO NOT USE TREATED WATER FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION, LIVESTOCK WATERING OR IRRIGATION PURPOSES FOR 10 DAYS AFTER APPLICATION
